Klangwelt presents you a classic hard trance track from 1999!

Hey, what’s up everyone, welcome to this week’s Friday Flashback! After a short break I’m back on track with the articles and I hope there won’t be any delays from now on Hehe! I know you all understand. Now, let’s turn our heads to the speakers and hear what’s banging there this Friday. That’s right, another trance massive, this time on the more “hard” part of the trance.

If I tell you two names, Florian Schreyvogl and Konrad Schreyvogl, what would you be thinking? Well… I can hear you saying “We don’t know, you tell us!” And indeed I will. Those are the real names of “DJ Taylor & Flow”. DJ Taylor & Flow are an Austrian band better known for their 1999 hit “Gott Tanzte”, which is the exact track I will present you. For those who do not know, DJ Taylor & Flow are also the men behind “Global Deejays”, “Global Playboys”, “Groove Agents” and “Ravers on Dope”.

The first single released by Dj Taylor & Flow is “Work”, released in 1995 and 1998. It was followed up by “Gott Tanzte / God Danced” (1999), “Exzess” (2000), “Dance the Planet” (2000) and “Hardcore Vibes” (2001, remix of Dune’s original “Hardcore Vibes”).

“Gott Tanzte” maxi single contains the next versions: Gott Tanzte (Original Radio), Gott Tanzte (Millennium Club Radio), Gott Tanzte (Original Extralang), Gott Tanzte (Millennium Trance), Gott Tanzte (Milliennium Club), Gott Tanzte (New Blade Mix) and Gott Tanze Jingle. It was released in Germany by EAMS, Creative Music Records and Plaque Records, in Netherlands by T.T.F. Records, in Italy by Stik Trance, in France by Panic Records and Austria by Plaque Records. In the next year, 2000, it was finally released in US by Radikal Records.

I think I said enough now and you’re all very anxious to listen to the song. And don’t forget to… dance

The 4th installment of the Friday Flashback series to perk you up for the weekend!

Heya party people, put your hands in the air! It’s that time of the week again! Yes, Friday Flashback time. And I wanna hear your heart beats at this one because it’s another trance massive! Blank & Jones and their single Heartbeat. The single “Heartbeat” has three versions: Club Mix, Laid Back Mix and No Vox Mix. It was released on vinyl in December 1997 on Gang Go Music label and it’s included on the debut album of Blank & Jones called “In Da Mix”. “In Da Mix” was released in 1999 on Kontor Records and Gang Go Music and contains other hits like “Flying To The Moon”, “Cream” and “After Love”, but we’ll get back to that later.

Now… let’s pay a little attention on the history of Blank & Jones. Blank & Jones’ members are Jan Pieter Blank (born June 15, 1971), known as Piet Blank; René Runge (born June 27, 1968), better known as DJ Jaspa Jones; and the producer Andy Kaufhold (N*D*K) (born December 17, 1969). The band is based in Cologne, Germany and when it first started producing the duo was called “Piet Blank & Jaspa Jones”.

Blank & Jones mix DJ and live, making the most of today’s technology. “We do everything digitally, on the basis of Final Scratch, which allows us to use our own edits and mixes, nothing comes straight from tape. Every set we play is unique, not only sound-wise but also in terms of what we play and how we play it.”, as they say on their official website www.blankandjones.com

So, only thinking of such classics, how can your heart not just skip a beat?

Klangwelt takes us back to another trance music classic, with some teachings for those who don't know the history of this one.

Our second Friday Flashback brought to you by Klangwelt – Enjoy!

This week it’s time for another trance massive that made the tour of the world in different versions under the sign of various artists, like Tiesto and Taucher. The question is: who made this track to be a hit in the first place? Well, the answer is simple: Kosmonova. Of course, I’m talking about his single called “Ayla“.

And now I will hear you telling me “No, Ayla was the single of… Ayla”. Yes, it is true, the story of “Ayla” began in 1996 when it was released by Ayla (a project of DJ Tandu). It was remixed by DJ Taucher in the same year and in 1997 was followed by “Ayla Part 2″. But the real success of this tune was brought by Kosmonova.

You all know the track for sure, but I don’t know if you also remember Kosmonova. On his real name Michael Nehrig, Kosmonova is a DJ and a producer born in 1970 in Krefeld, Germany. He gave to the world several hits, like “Raumpatrouille” (1996), “Take me Away” (1997), “Celebrate” (vs. Fiocco – 1998), “Singin’ in My Mind” (featuring Tania Evans, former singer of Culture Beat – 1998), “Danse avec Moi!” (2000) and “Discover the World” (2000). Other side projects of his are Royal Gigolos, DJ Planet and DJ Tyson.
“Ayla” was released in 1997 on the record label called Dos Or Die Recordings based in Germany. It is part of the album called “Supernova”, released in 1998 on the same record label.

Hope you enjoyed this week’s Friday Flashback, until next week I leave you with… Ayla!

Friday Flashback makes its debut on iLove Trance Music, a weekly reminder of great trance tracks from days gone by!

Our very first Friday Flashback lands on the blog from an awesome lady I met on Twitter recently. First I roped her in to doing some funky artwork (as you can see from this post, there is more to come) and before you know it she was coming up with a great idea for reminding us all of great trance tracks from days gone by…

So please give a warm welcome to Klangwelt, I’m sure you’ll like the idea of this post as much as I did and surely have recommendations of your own Retweet, share, tell your friends and thank you for reading iLove Trance Music!

Friday Flashback

We are gonna start our “Friday Flashback” section with an absolute trance classic! You have all probably hummed it, sang it and, for sure, danced it and, once you’ve listened to it, it’s impossible not to be obsessed by it.

It’s the song that brought ATB his recognition as a solo artist and one of the most famous producers of electronic music. The single was first released in 1998 on and with its release in 1999 on Ministry of Sound it quickly reached number 1 on the UK Singles Chart on July 3 of that year. Some of the remixes that were being played at the time of release were those from Signum, Matt Darey and Sequential One.

You can find it on the album called Movin’ Melodies among other great hits like Don’t Stop and Killer 2000 that rocked the dancefloors worldwide.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you: ATB – 9pm (Till I Come)!
