This week I’m polishing off a big bumper list of tracks due to being away…how many will there be by the time I finish? Erm… 10! Oh well I got picky in the end with nothing but the best for my readers
I just got back from Sweden Friday and it was so relaxing I really did not want to come back to the UK. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the world’s largest car park, the M25 (I believe I have heard Jeremy Clarkson call it that). It has really been hard getting use to so many people surrounding me again, but never fear I have lots of ideas and will be taking action on writing lots soon!

Just like my last post I made on new trance releases, I’m going to start off with a gentle summer tune which I think is personally beautiful!

Reset Records

Nice trancer with a catchy riff that slots in nicely near the tech-trance but not quite as up front. Also worth checking out the Raver Mix that is electro influenced.

Hands old hands in the air trance, you just can’t beat it can you? And certainly not when Manuel Le Saux is on the remix duties!

Magic Island Recordings

Big strong vocals and three mixes that are all great stuff. I picked the ever strong Myon and Shane54 just because they always put nice touches to their remixes without taking it away from the original intended path.

You can’t fail to recognise this track from Dakota. A lil laid back and some lovely depth makes this a pleasurable tune to be listened to everywhere.

Armind

An awesome production that really shows the capabilities of Claudia Cazucu as being more than just tech-trance girl but a fully fledged uplifting trance angel with the help of Audrey Gallagher’s vocals, who has previously worked with tyDi and John O’Callaghan.

Musical Madness

Ben Gold alias that is allowing him to get a lil quirky (in a nice way) on the Original Mix and then Jochen Miller takes it back to something a lot more palatable for many DJs and the dancefloor.

“Don’t look back I am behind you… With you, forever beside you” Yes I have been influenced by the recent List of 10 Female Trance DJs and Producers I made, but these tracks are simply beautiful. Another one in the bag for Sophie Sugar that I’m really loving.

Platipus

After the string of vocals I kept waiting for it to break into Leftfield’s ‘Song of Life’ (just after 4 minutes if you have the track or the awesome album Leftism). I do like a bit of Platipus at times and this is one that I’ll play again and again to keep the crowd on their toes due to sounding rather different.

Trance_Cat on Twitter recommended this uplifting track to me and a very good recommendation indeed… No doubt they will add their bit as to what they think of the track below
*Update*
Here is what Trance Cat had to say as posted in their comment below: “Starting off this track with a bangin beat and a heavy bassline is really nice for a DJ! being one myself i can assure you this is cool. Pretty quick a simple melody kicks in with beautiful reverb and delay effects on it, giving it that trancy vibe we’re looking for.
yay! the epic trance piano kicks in at 3 mins on the background which will later be the lead sound at 3:30. having a long buildup from 4:30 up till 5:10 this track bursts into a uplifting climax with the first melody coming back at you.“
