List of 10 New Trance Tracks 25-08-09

Hope you are enjoying a summer full of trance! With John O’Callaghan getting commercial airplay in Europe and Chicane getting a UK Top 10 could we just be seeing the stirrings of trance becoming mainstream once again? Here’s hoping! :D

This week sees more tracks from your favourite artists and labels and of course I hope you hear something you hadn’t heard before and quite like.

BRM – Time To Reflect (Original Mix)
SAME Recordings

Steve Anderson’s label picks up this corker from BRM, namely Chris Breame who is one half of their A/B Project. Some of you may of heard our very own DJ-Code Y (Reinout de Vlaming) introducing the Breames Dark Reflection Mix on SAME Radio Show 035 recently.

Atmotion – Taken Away
Only One Records

Only One Records release another pure uplifting trance track for a hands in the air experience! If you didn’t see it before then head over to the previous Trance Tuesday post highlighting this label.

A.w.e.r.S. – Out of Limits (Original Mix)
Sunset to Sunrise Recordings

Been a while since I caught up with this pretty impressive progressive trance label. Lovely mellow track to get either the crowd warmed up, or simply kick back and relax in the garden to it. A track for all occasions.

DannyNergy – Crunch (Original Mix)
U-NEQ Productions

A dirty hook and the structure and combination of sounds make this tech-trancer refreshing to hear. Think I’ll have to keep an eye out in future for this artist and label.

Cold Blue – Mount Everest (Dennis Sheperd Remix)
Anjunabeats

MASSIVE TUNE ALERT!! ‘Nuff said surely? Cold Blue’s Original Mix or Dennis Sheperd’s Remix, I don’t care as they are both superb examples of uplifting trance music at its best!

Mac and Monday – Touching The Sound (Original Mix)
Dedicated

Dedicated release a host of tracks but this one gets my pic with its beautiful melodies.

Randy Katana – Back In Time (Original Mix)
Doorn

Tough choice between this track and Randy’s other release called You & I. The later sounds a little obscure and is not trance in every sense in the word, still, great stuff though. Back In Time is typical big sound Randy Katana as I love so much.

Activa Vs. Chris & Matt Kidd – U.R. (Stoneface & Terminal Remix)
Discover

As always Discover release nothing but top class trance tunage and Stoneface & Terminal follow suit with their remix. A driving melody with a great uplifting riff makes this a fav with all the big DJs currently.

Rex Mundi feat. Susana – Nothing At All (Beat Service Juicy Remix)
Coldharbour Recordings

Do I use the term beautiful often? No? Well this track is just bootiful! It has everything you can possibly want from an uplifting vocal trance track. Of course for the vocal fans out there you may recognise Susana’s voice from the infamous Dark Side of The Moon and Shivers.

Corderoy – Kyrie (U4IC DJ’s Remix)
Mondo Records
DJdownload.com link

A real anthemic number turns into a tough number with the U4IC DJs taking it down a trippy route that has some elements of psy-trance to it with its driving offbeat sounds. The choir vocal is held finely though for an awesome breakdown.

As an added something if you do play the player I have thrown in Roger Shah’s To The Sky for your listening pleasure. Hope you have enjoyed this weeks list!

Thank you for reading and as always please remember to subscribe if you have not done at the top right of the page.
