Our very first Friday Flashback lands on the blog from an awesome lady I met on Twitter recently. First I roped her in to doing some funky artwork (as you can see from this post, there is more to come) and before you know it she was coming up with a great idea for reminding us all of great trance tracks from days gone by…
So please give a warm welcome to Klangwelt, I’m sure you’ll like the idea of this post as much as I did and surely have recommendations of your own
Retweet, share, tell your friends and thank you for reading iLove Trance Music!

Friday Flashback
We are gonna start our “Friday Flashback” section with an absolute trance classic! You have all probably hummed it, sang it and, for sure, danced it and, once you’ve listened to it, it’s impossible not to be obsessed by it.
It’s the song that brought ATB his recognition as a solo artist and one of the most famous producers of electronic music. The single was first released in 1998 on and with its release in 1999 on Ministry of Sound it quickly reached number 1 on the UK Singles Chart on July 3 of that year. Some of the remixes that were being played at the time of release were those from Signum, Matt Darey and Sequential One.
You can find it on the album called Movin’ Melodies among other great hits like Don’t Stop and Killer 2000 that rocked the dancefloors worldwide.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you: ATB – 9pm (Till I Come)!

Klangwelt.
I worship you. I almost do that literally.
You could not have chosen a better track to open this new post with.
ATB is the one who started it all for me. he got me interested in Electronic dance music. He still is my hero, and I consider him the best producer ever existed.
and it was this track that I remember as the first EDM track i have ever heard. or at least it is the first track i can remember.
ATB, more than music.

Oh thanks
Glad you liked the post.
Well i totally love ATB. I started listening to his tunes since he was playing with Sequential One. I basicly grew up with him. Somehow his tunes always matched my feelings and the moments i was going through. When i first heard “My Dream” i realized what my dream was and what goals i should have in my life. So you see… i’m very attached to his music and it will always mean a lot to me.
I couldn’t say it better myself, ATB – more than music!

When I first got into trance this track was doing the rounds and it may just have been the very first piece of vinyl I bought. I think I bought a few others either with it or just before it…but I do remember this being the defining track of that summer along with soo many others
My memory is not what it use to be, 10 years has passed since then Hahaha!

The “Friday Flashback” section is an awesome idea for the blog. I always find myself searching for the old classics on youtube to bring back a few memories.
Can I make a suggestion for this section?
