This week I’m bringing you the Friday Flashback straight from Rotterdam city! Tomorrow history is about to be written by a huge dance event that only happens once a year, I couldn’t help myself not to bring to your attention an all-time trance favourite that rocked the dance floors worldwide!
The event that happens tomorrow is called “Full on Ferry Masquerade” and its host is no one else than the legendary Ferry Corsten! Now tell me, how many of you rocked your body rock every weekend, felt like a “digital punk” or sang like you’re on fire? Alright, this means that you are already addicted to Ferry Corsten and you have no escape than to continue reading this post, hehe.
Ferry Corsten’s first alias was “Moonman” and his first single to reach a chart position was “Don’t Be Afraid”. His second alias is System F since February 1999 when he released his first single under this nickname. And here’s an interesting fact: before producing trance/club music he used to produce hardcore gabber tracks. Wow, what a change! But this was a good change, because otherwise we would miss all the beautiful tunes from him.
The song I’m gonna present you this week is called “Out of the Blue” by System F. “Out of the Blue” was released in 1999 by major labels like Tsunami (Netherlands), Essential Recordings (UK), Reef Recordings (Germany) or Dance Pool, Sony Music Entertainment (Germany).
In 2001 the album “Out of the Blue” was out and it contains other hits like “Exhale”, “Elevate” and “Indian Summer”.
Ok, now i will leave you with this week’s Flashback while I’m getting ready for the Masquerade. I promise I will get back to you with many impressions from the party!
Take care and see you all next week!
