The Epitome of 2009

It has been a great year, as well in life itself as it was in Trance music. We have seen many great releases and rising star DJ’s. Also the big names from before have been more active than ever causing my CD collection to have doubled in size over the last year!

Thousands and thousands have danced their asses off on a great variety of dancefloors all over the world at the greatest parties with even greater DJ’s. My highlite of this year sure would be the Luminosity Beach event where I got the chance and honor to play both Monogato and Michael de kooker their last tracks in their sets! afterwards some people in the crowd wanted to take a picture with me as if I really was a big DJ already!

between all the rising DJ’s, great releases and the people who danced their ass off on dance floors there also was the birth of something new… a podcast… The Epitome Of Sound Sessions!

Let’s just say that 2009 was a year I would love to do once more!

The birth of a new Podcast

New things are always hard to start on is my experience. Also the podcast was no easy thing to get off the ground, but with help of very friendly and supportive people I had a chance of doing it. And I succeeded only because of those people. Time for a proper “Thank You”

First of all I want to thank Stuart Wooster, the founder of iLoveTranceMusic and the person who fully supported me in making a podcast for his great website. Stuart monthly takes care of the podcast so it can be downloaded through iTunes makes sure it is well promoted in England! His Twitter account is @iLoveTrance so send him a “Thank you”!

Second there is Chris Schriel, this guy, Little in height but great in his deeds monthly hosts the podcast on his private servers free of charge. Without him the Epitome Of Sound Sessions would not exist on the internet at all! his Twitter account is @Statuz make sure to send him a nice new years tweet! Chris, Thank you buddy!

Also there is Evelon Bisdom, a regular listener to the show and a good personal friend. She literally stated the following to me “I started to like Trance all because of The Epitome Of Sound Session, and to be honest… I can’t do without Trance Music anymore”. Since then Evelon always gets the podcast first hand before it is released and she gives me good feedback on the music I have chosen. say hi to her from me via @effjeuh on Twitter

Last, But most certainly not least I want to thank Korsjan Punt from DutchPartyPics. Monthly he gives me all acces to all of his photography to post nice partypics with the podcast. It surely makes the page a lot nicer to look at and he does this free of charge! Thank you Korsjan! you are great!

The Full Flashback

This time we look back on a great year in music and because 2009 was so awesome we have to do that in two parts! 4 HOURS of Trance music mixed by DJ-Code Y and Noadja.

The first part only contains the finest Vocal Trance of the year and is mixed by DJ-Code Y. The most beautiful voices and lyrics will surely get you singing along loudly!

The second part is mixed by Dj Noadja and only contains the very best melodic and uplifting Trance. this mix is able to get you floating a few inches above the ground!

Yes, it is kinda strange but due to some school related, time consuming tasks I was not able to make the podcast in time. But it proves to be worth the waiting! it is a great episode with once again an even greater guestmixer: BRM better known in real life as Chris Breame who is one half of the A/B Project, honored us with a great guestmix.
