Ben Gold For Trance Tuesday

Trance DJ Ben Gold I never hear much talk about Ben Gold sadly. Sure, for those who know him or have already heard of him through channels such as Armin’s and Above & Beyond’s ‘Tune Of The Week’, alongside many of his tracks featured on stations and podcasts across the world and of course his Afterhours.fm show called ‘Life’ (nicely named after his track of the same name that was more than well received), you know what a seriously good DJ and producer he is. Hence why I am making him this weeks Trance Tuesday suggestion.

I remember hearing Ben play some years ago in Southampton, as far as I’m aware he was cutting his teeth back then, finding out what sounds he loved and refining his mixing skills. He was talented even then, making perfect track selection and rocking the crowd. Now you can see Ben Gold rocking the crowd across the globe from supporting Paul Oakenfold’s UK tour to playing in Poland, Australia and India.

2009 has already been a busy year for Ben Gold on the production front. His alias Be:Gold was picked up by the label Musical Madness (owned by none other than Marcel Woods) and top notch mixing duties on Andy Moor & Ashley Wallbridge feat. Meighan Nealon – Faces has made a large impact on the trance scene already. With an E.P. in the pipeline I expect my statement of “I never hear much talk about Ben Gold sadly.” to be blown out of the water as the year continues
